Summary

Based on her dissertation, Shannon's book is an in-depth analysis of the development process for the "Our Lives: Contemporary Life and Identities" exhibition, one of three inaugural exhibits at the National Museum of the American Indian. This work is based on a detailed museum ethnography of the process of developing a community collaborative museum exhibition.
