Prints Recalled from Library of Congress

PrintFollowing an 1896 resolution by the Regents, the Institution brings back a number of prints of value, both from the Library of Congress and the Corcoran Gallery. These items are placed in a room specially fitted up for that purpose (the Art Room) under the temporary charge of the librarian.
