Summary

Corinthian columns and portico on the south facade of the Natural History building, now known as the National Museum of Natural History, on Madison Drive, viewed from the National Mall. There is snow and slush on the ground, including a large puddle in the center of the image which reflects the columns. Three persons in hats and coats are shoveling snow from the middle level of the steps. There is a car parked to the right of the frame (cut off). Two posted signs read 'No parking / at any time.'
