Stradivari Instruments Acquired by SI

PrintThe Smithsonian acquires five instruments made by Antonio Stradivari. The collection was curated by Albert F. Moglie for more than 50 years, until his death in 1988. Moglie prepared the instruments each year for a concert played by the Julliard String Quartet.
