The left side of the image shows a street and several buildings. The postcard is addressed to E.A. (Eugene A.)Schwarz at the National Museum, now the National Museum of Natural History. The message for him is as follows:
  • "Dear Mr. Schwarz There are not as many Florida beetles in Pinar as I expected but on the Pines & Palmetto & on the ground the genera at least are very Similar- C.W. Leng,"
