Summary

The film "Festival of American Folklife," created by the Office of Exhibits Central Motion Picture Unit for the Division of Performing Arts, wins three Emmy awards at the 17th Area Academy Awards of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. The movie, which was viewed by an estimated television audience of 12 million, was shown in-flight for 30 days by American Airlines. The film previously won a CINE Golden Eagle Award and a Silver Plaque from the Chicago International Film Festival.
