Postcard of two chimpanzees at the National Zoological Park. They are crouching in front of a blue fence. The message side is blank, but it has a printed note: "Chimpanzee--An African Anthropoid [man-like] Ape. The popular interest in this Ape lies in its resemblance to man, physiologically and anatomically. A forest animal living in small family groups; spend most of their time in trees. Occasionally stand upright but walk on all fours." The front has a white border.
