Summary

  • Walt Ennaco begins his work as the Deputy Director of the Office of Facilities Engineering and Operations (OFEO). Prior to this new appointment, Ennaco served as the Project Executive for the National Museum of Natural History, the Associate Director for Project Management, the Director of the Office of Project Planning and Management, and has served as the Acting OFEO Deputy Director since April 2012.
  • Before joining the Smithsonian, Ennaco was a Program Manager at Headquarters, US Army Corps of Engineers and the Chief of Military Project Management for the Mobile District which had a $400 million per year program in the southeast U.S. Walt also proudly served as a Major, in the US Army. Ennaco holds a Bachelor of General Engineering from the US Military Academy, West Point, NY and a Masters of Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Illinois. He also holds LEED certification for new construction and has been recognized for many achievements during his tenure.
