House Speaker Thomas P. (Tip) O'Neill, Jr., requests a desk of historical significance for his Capitol Hill office and is loaned an oak desk from the National Museum of History and Technology collection used by President Grover Cleveland in his New York law office. It was restored at the Cabinet Shop in the Capitol.
