Summary

Kwang-zung Tung, a Chinese field assistant, joins the archaeological team led by the Freer Gallery of Art's Assistant Curator Carl Whiting Bishop. Tung previously assisted Bishop on other expeditions to China in 1915 and 1917. Bishop was so impressed by Tung's field skills, that he was brought to the United States to study and work at the University of Pennsylvania Museum.
