Summary

Deron Burba becomes the Smithsonian's Chief Information Officer for the Smithsonian on February 27, 2012. Burba previously served as Director of the Smithsonian's Office of System Modernization (2001-2012). He replaces Ann T. Speyer who had been Chief Information Officer since 2006.
