Letter from the Senior Class of the College of New Jersey to Joseph Henry, then a professor at the College of New Jersey, today Princeton University, and later first Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution, June 25, 1841. In this letter, fifty-three members of the Senior class signed up to attend a course of lectures concerning geology given by Henry.
