Summary

Letter from William Bacon, a farmer in Massachusetts and observer for the Smithsonian Institution's Meteorological Project, to Joseph Henry, first Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution, January 3-4, 1852. In the letter, Bacon complains that, although he has provided the Smithsonian with many detailed meteorological reports, he has never received Smithsonian publications, which he had requested.
