Washington attorney Ralph E. Becker is presented the silver James Smithson medal at a ceremony in the National Museum of History and Technology, in recognition of Becker's donation of his collection of political campaign materials, which consists of over 30,000 items of political memorabilia which have been used in many major exhibits.
