Summary

Dr. Philip Ensley is named the Zoo's first veterinary intern (15 months) under the internship and training program for recent graduates of schools of veterinary medicine who are interested in the practice of exotic animal medicine. The program was established in 1975 through the Smithsonian Research Foundation.
