Visitors entering the Alexander Hamilton Customs House in New York City for the opening of the George Gustav Heye Center of the National Museum of the American Indian located there. The George Gustav Heye Center opened October 30, 1994. The 1907 Customs House is a Beaux Arts building designed by architect Cass Gilbert.
