Summary

Philanthropist Paul Peck donates $2 million to the National Portrait Gallery to create the Paul Peck Fund for Presidential Studies to endow the Paul Peck Presidential Award, the only award in the United States to celebrate achievement in support of the presidency. The award complements several other Portrait Gallery initiatives relating to the presidency. The fund also supports programming on the U.S. presidency.
