The inside cover and first page of William F. Foshag's field notebook entitled Kaminaljujuy (Kaminaljuyu a Pre-Columbian site of the Maya civilization). The inside cover has jade samples taped to it and the first page in the notebook has notes on the minerals. Foshag, curator in the Geology Department at the National Museum of Natural History, took these notes while conducting an extensive survey of jade in Central America.
