Summary

Image of the "Colombia at the Smithsonian: The Colombian Presence in The Collections of the Smithsonian Institution," which ran from Wednesday, September 6 till Sunday October 15, 2006 in the Smithsonian Castle's Schermer Hall. The project director Henry Estrada, Exhibitions and Public Programs Director, Smithsonian Latino Center, lead a team of curators & museum specialists from the Smithsonian Institution to assemble this pan-Institutional special exhibition, that highlights the Colombian presence in Smithsonian collections. The rarely seen objects and artworks testify to the nation's diverse cultural and natural resources.
