Summary

In January and February 2001 a group of Scientists from the SI Conservation Research Center, Front Royal, part of the National Zoological Park, made a trip to Myanmar (Burma) for the purpose of teaching a workshop to introduce Myanmar Park staff (wardens, vets and rangers) how to map the trails in their parks, survey for wild elephants and how to radio collar elephants to track their use of the park. Chris Wemmer, Director of CRC was the project leader. This image shows elephants and a warden at the site.
