Summary

Bern Dibner of Norwalk, CT, receives a silver dollar set in marble from Secretary Ripley. This completes the terms of Dibner's gift of the Dibner Library of the History of Science and Technology, which includes over 25,000 rare books and other material. The library represents the major holdings of the Burndy Library in Norwalk, Connecticut, established by Dibner in 1936.
