Summary

Florence E. Meier Chase (1902-1978) with a big smile is wearing a hat and a coat with a fur shawl and is standing in front of a wall on which images have been hung. Chase was a botanist with the Radiation Biology Laboratory, part of the Smithsonian's Astrophysical Observatory. Dr. Chase received her B.A. from Wellesley College and her Ph.D. from the University of Geneva in Switzerland. This image has some perforations above Chase's head.
