Carlos, Alexander Wetmore's field assistant, is standing in a field on the Isla Iguana, an island off the west coast of Panama, Los Santos province. The image was taken by sixth Smithsonian Secretary and ornithologist Alexander Wetmore while on ornithological expedition to Panama.
