Guedén [Armagedón Hartmann] and Bea Wetmore [Alexander Wetmore's wife] stand in front of the Wetmores' expedition home at Mandinga, Comarca de San Blas, Panama. The image was taken by sixth Smithsonian Secretary and ornithologist Alexander Wetmore while on an ornithological expedition to Panama. Hartmann was a Panamanian who assisted Wetmore on many expeditions in the region.
