Two whale-headed storks, shoe bill balaeniceps rex, from eastern tropical Africa, are displayed in an exhibit case in the United States National Museum, now known as the National Museum of Natural History. The birds were collected during the Smithsonian-Roosevelt Expedition (1909-1910.)
