Two men are in a cayuco ("dug-out canoe"), with the outboard motor raised, near the shore, and one man is standing on the shore of the Isla Ranchería, Panama. The image was taken by Smithsonian Secretary Alexander Wetmore while on a scientific expedition in Panama and Coiba Island to study birds.
