Summary

A cart filled with plate glass from the E. J. Murphy Co. moving up the front steps of the Natural History Building. The glass is moving up a wood pulley ramp into the building. Laborers are standing around the glass to load it into the nearly completed Natural History Building. The new United States National Museum, now known as the National Museum of Natural History, opened on March 17, 1910 housing the Smithsonian Institution's natural history, art, culture, and history collections.
