Summary

Print of an original architectural plan of the National Museum of Natural History building, originally known as the United States National Museum. The print, drawn circa 1905 by an unknown creator, has an inscribed title of "Exterior Elevation" and depicts the entire length of the building as seen from the National Mall. The original process indicated is "photograph," and the original drawing measures 26.50"w x 7.00"h. In the lower left corner of the image, the words are printed "Return to A. Wetmore", indicating sixth Smithsonian Secretary and ornithologist Alexander Wetmore.
