A sign "History of the United States" hangs over exhibit cases in the North Hall of the United States National Museum, now known as the Arts and Industries Building. Cases on the left hold decorative vases and other decorative art objects. In the first case on the right, the top level holds a bust of Abraham Lincoln and other artifacts. A flag-draped object is below. At the far end of the hall is the "Statue of Freedom." in the rotunda The railings to the galleries on the second floor completed in 1903 are in the upper right and left.
