Perrygo, taxidermist, served as exhibits preparator and zoological exhibits worker in the Department of Zoology, USNM, accompanied Alexander Wetmore (1886-1978), ornithologist and sixth Secretary (1944-1952) of the Smithsonian, on numerous bird specimen collecting trips to Panama.The image was taken by Wetmore during their 1952 ornithological field trip to Panama.
