Perrygo, taxidermist, field collector and exhibits specialist at the United States National Museum, now the National Museum of Natural History (NMNH), sits to eat a noon meal at the Río Mensabé, near La Palma, Los Santos, Panama. He is seated on a blanket surrounded by food items, drinks, pots and pans. He accompanied Alexander Wetmore on his scientific research trips to Panama. Taken by Alexander Wetmore, ornithologist and sixth Secretary of Smithsonian, during an ornithological field trip to Panama.
