Summary

Cheetahs and exotic birds are donated to the National Zoological Park by Woodward and Lothrop Department store. The animals, including a baby elephant that died from a congenital lung deformation, were displayed by Woodies' in the window of their downtown department store in December 1966, prior to their move to the Zoo on January 26, 1967.
