As a part in the International Animals in Art program, The National Zoo conducted a series of public drawing workshops called "Sketch-Ins" in 1976, 1977 and 1978. A group of visitors, attending the "Animals in Art, Sketch-ins," are drawing a spider monkey, probably the one named Alice, who is in its cage at the National Zoological Park (NZP).
