View is of the ford on the Rio Parita, at Parita, Herrera, Panama. The U.S. Army Air Force jeep loaned to ornithologist and sixth Smithsonian Secretary Alexander Wetmore can be seen to the left. Watson M. Perrygo, National Museum of Natural History taxidermist, is seated inside the jeep. In the water, there is a man standing in a wagon being pulled by oxen .
