Ornithologist and sixth Secretary of the Smithsonian Alexander Wetmore made several trips to Panama to collect bird specimens. Wetmore's caption notes, that this is a "View is of a trail near Agua Blanca, Panama. Cerro Azul [mountain] can be seen at the left; Carbunco to the right."
