Summary

Image of citizens of the town of La Palma, Los Santos, Panama, including a small child on the ground, an older woman by a post, a young girl by a pedestal, and a child in the doorway. The group is standing under a roof overhang supported by wood posts in front of a house. The image was taken by sixth Smithsonian Secretary and ornithologist, Alexander Wetmore, while on one of his many ornithological expeditions to the country.
