Summary

The Smithsonian Board of Regents selects a site for the new National Museum of African American History and Culture. The new museum will be built on a five-acre site on the National Mall at the southwest corner of 14th Street and Constitution Avenue, Northwest, just northeast of the Washington Monument and west of the National Museum of American History.
