The post-1964 installation in the National Museum of History and Technology, now the National Museum of American History, of the First Ladies Exhibit shows mannequins placed in a reception room as it might have looked in the White House during the administration of President Van Buren. The dresses shown are those that were worn by (left to right) Julia Gardiner Tyler, Jane Irwin Findlay (daughter-in-law of William Henry Harrison), Angelica Van Buren, Emily Danelson (Mrs. Jackson's niece), and Sarah Yorke Jackson (daughter-in-law of Andrew Jackson whose wife died shortly before he was inaugurated). Persian carpet on the floor was a gift from the Sultan of Muscat (now Oman) to President Martin Van Buren in 1840.
