Edward P. Henderson and Kikuo Suwa's father seated at a table in Suwa's house. Edward P. Henderson made several trips to Japan to appraise gems confiscated by the Japanese government during World War II. Henderson (1898-1992) was Curator of Mineral Sciences at the National Museum of Natural History.
