Summary

Alexander Wetmore, ornithologist and Sixth Secretary of the Smithsonian, shows the wings of a forest eagle, Morphnus taeniatus, that he has collected in Quebrada Carriaso, Cerro Azul, Panama. Wetmore made numerous trips to Panama to collect bird specimens.
