Summary

The Beatles' Rolls Royce is given to the Cooper-Hewitt Museum by John Lennon and Yoko Ono and will be exhibited in "Ornament in the Twentieth Century" in October 1978. The car is auctioned off in June 1985 by Sotheby's for $2,090,000.
