Summary

The Hall of Presidents reopens at the National Portrait Gallery. Now located in the west wing, the Hall of Presidents has portraits hung in chronological order and arranged to permit leisurely study of the collection, which begins with the famous Gilbert Stuart Lansdowne' painting of George Washington. Also displayed are newly acquired portraits of John Adams and Zachary Taylor.
