Edward P. and Rebecca Henderson arriving at their hotel in Yokohama, Japan. Edward P. Henderson (1898-1992) was curator of mineral sciences at the National Museum of Natural History. He travelled to postwar Japan several times to appraise confiscated gemstones for the United States Army.
