Henry Collins, on a field trip, probably to Florida, is aboard the United States Coast Guard cutter U.S.S. Boxer. Henry Bascom Collins, Jr., (1899-1987), an archaeologist, specialized in Eskimo prehistory. He worked at the Division of Ethnology of the United States National Museum from 1923 to 1938, Bureau of American Ethnology from 1939 to 1965, and the Department of Anthropology of the National Museum of Natural History from 1966 to 1987.
