Summary

Hall of Health opened November 3, 1957, in the Arts and Industries Building as part of the Exhibits Modernization Program. The old Public Health Gallery was closed in 1952 and this Hall of Health is the result of four years of planning and developing. The theme of the new Hall is: Through the Ages, Man's Knowledge of His Body. Here, two visitors look at an exhibit of the actual corrosion specimen showing the arteries in the human heart.
