Summary

Pieces of a stone window frame on the floor in the West Wing of the Smithsonian Institution Building. The window was taken out and the stones removed in order to move the statue of George Washington sculpted by Horatio Greenough out of the building. The statue was moved out of the building on September 6, 1962, and was relocated to the Museum of History and Technology, now the National Museum of American History.
