Summary

Laboratory and storage area is for specimens of the Division of Mammals in the United States National Museum, now the National Museum of Natural History. This is typical of laboratories where the study collections were kept and where museum research was conducted. Skulls are lined up on top of storage cabinets which are along one wall. Two drawers are open showing specimens stored there. A long table runs along the outside wall under the windows.
