Summary

David W. Scott follows Thomas M. Beggs as the director of the National Collection of Fine Arts. Scott serves as the director until his resignation on May 31, 1969, at which time Robert Tyler Davis is appointed acting Director (June 1, 1969- January 1, 1970).
