Summary

The food exhibit in the Comparative Technology section of the United States National Museum (USNM), now the Arts and Industries Building, displayed the raw materials of human foods from across the world, visible in the exhibit case to the right. The exhibit also included a living bee hive with bees, contained in the case on the left, borrowed from the United States Department of Agriculture.
