Summary

Watson M. Perrygo (left), taxidermist for the United States National Museum, and Sergeant E. W. (Bill) McCarthy (right) both leaning against a truck, with unidentified man seated in the truck, in Jaque, Darien, Panama, on April 9, 1946. Perrygo accompanied Alexander Wetmore (1886-1978), ornithologist and Sixth Secretary (1944-1952) of the Smithsonian, on numerous bird specimen collecting trips to Panama.
